FREE STEM Summer Enrichment Opportunity!!!

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) has partnered with Dominion Energy to bring a wonderful summer virtual program to the Cleveland (OH) area.

It's the Summer Engineering Experience for Kids (SEEK). SEEK is a FREE, three (3) week engineering immersion program that educates 3rd - 5th grade students on STEM.

We want to ensure that our students register for this program. Below are program details and the registration link:

Registration is Now Open:

Program Dates and Curriculum:

  • June 14 - July 2 (Virtual Program 1)

  • July 19 - August 6 (Virtual Program 2)

  • Students will be assigned one hour of online instruction with mentors through ZOOM, where they are guided through curriculum packet encompassing core engineering concepts.

    • Two (2) daily timeslots will be offered -- 10:00am to 11:00am; or 1:00pm to 2:00pm. [The curriculum presented during each timeslot will be the same.]

This year's curriculum will focus on drones, robotics, and coding!

Also, NSBE will provide every student with an Amazon Fire tablet to ensure access to the platform, and curriculum kits will be shipped to the address that you list on the application.
